Today in PH is Holy Thursday! Usually, when this day will come, my family will usually prepare something to eat. We will cook budbud pilit (made from glutinous rice), budbud balanghoy (cassava) and all the native delicacies. Then, we will be having some prayer time. And during the night, family and all of the relatives will meet on top of the mountain. The last time all of my cousins (mother side) were together was last year 2001.

I just miss this the Holy days which we usually celebrate during April. Though there is no particular time to be holy or let’s say to call God and repent, but as a commemoration of those times during the time of Christ, we take a moment to remember it in our own little ways.

I just don’t know if I can celebrate it again with my family and when will it be!

(We usually stay near the grutu in the Pergula since during those times we feel safe since this place is converted into a military reservation area together with the PNP and DENR.)
