Lessons I’ve learned in renewing my domains
Usually, I will just look at the domain manager and see if there are some domains which are about to expire. This I forgot to look at my billing history if I did purchase an advance renewal for those things. Well, I’m quite comfy with them adjusting my domain expiration right after my payment. But it’s not! I just discovered this thing when I renewed the domains of my friend which I hosted last year and early this year. But I didn’t learn on my first experience. I keep on just checking the domain manager. And today, when I check a particular domain in which I already gave this to my friend, I was angry upon looking at the dates on the domain manager and my billing history. There are lots of domains in which I purchased domain renewals twice and even thrice. I kept on sending messages to them. I got a reply from the support and the billing section that they’ve already adjusted it but when I checked on the domain manager it’s not yet adjusted. I sent them messages containing my invoice number and the dates of those domains with double/triple domain renewal purchase. Hope they can adjust this as they have the same registrars. With my domains, I can wait for it. With the domains that I just transferred to the web hosting of my friend, I’m worried for it. I’m hoping they can fix these domain renewal dates VERY SOON!
