Mom is safer now

Thanks to Wm Rowe

My mom was getting older, and I was a little worried about her house. She had that old boiler in the basement and I guess what I was mostly concerned about was her getting carbon monoxide poisoning. The good news is, I found out through http://www.home-alarm-systems.com that some of the more modern alarm systems can actually detect high levels of carbon monoxide, so I immediately signed her up for one of those. I also talked to her doctor about what the warning signs are and he explained to me that nausea, vomiting and anything of the sort, including bad headaches, should be taken seriously. Mom says she feels a lot better knowing her house is safer all around and I’ve been making more of an effort to get out there and see her. She’s so precious to me and I feel like now that she’s older, it’s my responsibility to make sure she’s okay all the time…I guess our roles have really switched since she was the parent and I was the child!
